How terrified of Mommy does Sadie look in this picture? That is true fear in her eyes!

But I promise that she is a happy baby! She’s even started giving us little smiles! Though I must admit, despite all the songs we sing, books we read, voices and faces we make, the first real smile went to smelly, hairy, slobbery, four-legged Sophie! Go figure. Anyway, hopefully I’ll capture a picture soon of her smiling.

She’s also getting a lot stronger. During tummy time, she’s able to lift her head up a lot.

She also gets pretty fixated on toys and objects now.

But when it comes to sleeping, she still likes to be held all the time. To help us out with that, I bought a baby wrap. Works perfect!


Tomorrow morning is Sadie’s next doctor appointment. Hopefully, she’s gained a bit of weight! I'm hopeful that she has because she's fitting in more clothes now.
