Our First Mother's Day!

My first Mother's Day was wonderful! There is nothing better than being Sadie's Mommy! And although that, of course, is present enough, Daddy and Sadie bought me a gift certificate to a spa AND a super awesome, incredible new camera! So we decided to immediately break the camera in at my favorite place- this was Sadie’s first trip to the beach! So we just started snapping away, playing around with different lenses and settings, and we had absolutely no clue whatsoever what we were doing! When we came home, I floated in our pool as I read through the novel of a manual, and realized how much I have to learn. I've really gotta study up for this thing! Meanwhile, Sadie, exhausted from her first beach day, passed out and slept for six hours!! So I’m sure Mommy will be up all night with her! We also developed the pictures we took today and I am so thrilled with the quality. So much better than what I’ve been getting! If I wasn’t already completely obsessed with taking pictures of my bug, I definitely will be now!
