Sadie Loves Play Time!

So Sadie is definitely at that point where she is appreciating her toys and she’s finally enjoying play time. She now grabs at toys and waves them around.

And she laughs a lot (although her laugh usually sounds like either a cry or a cough!) and she talks to her toys. Plus, she thinks the strangest things are toys! For example, she now spends all of her sleep time in her swing upstairs (which works beautifully, by the way – 10 hours last night! And great naps today!), but there’s a little red dot on her swing that she loooves to talk to and laugh at. So, as not to get her too giggly when it’s time to sleep, we’ve taken to covering the dot with tape! What a funny little lady!

Sadie is also enjoying her friends a little more. She was very happy to see Lola today! (And I like this picture, because doesn't she look like Mommy??)

Also, Nana bought Sadie a new play mat (fully equipped with ladybugs, of course!), and Sadie is loving it! Here is a video that I took of her today playing with it. Too cute!
