PIZZA!

Sadie's word-of-the-week this week is PIZZA! She loooves pizza, and now she loves saying it too!

Big Talker

The day Sadie was born, I remember the nurses and doctors commenting on how verbal she was going to be. Born four weeks early and only 5 pounds 11 ounces, she was already doing a whole lot of mumbling! And although we can't understand 99% of what she says, she has accumulated a long list of words that she says. In no particular order, I've listed her words below. There's definitely a few I'm forgetting, but it's still a pretty long list for such a tiny little thing!

Teething

Sadie still only has two tiny little teeth. And lately it seems like her gums are really bothering her. Sucking on her ice teether seems to help a little, but she is clearly uncomfortable. My poor baby!

To take her mind off her mouth, we took her for a ride in her car. She loves controlling the steering wheel and honking the horn. But she still wouldn't let go of her ice teether.

Big Girl Pocketbook

Sadie has a new ladybug backpack, and she carries it around the house on one arm like it's a pocketbook or diaper bag. She'll even pick it up, walk over to the door, and wave goodbye to me like she's heading out. She's such a little imitator!

And inside her pocketbook she carries around her ladybug easter eggs. She takes them apart and tries so hard to put them back together. She thinks that the harder she presses the two halves together, the more likely they will click into place. Her arms literally shake from all the force she uses!
